What we do
We buy used, unwanted, damaged and scrap vehicles, including cars, utes, vans, 4WDs and trucks. If you are unsure whether your vehicle qualifies, ask us.

THE DETAILS
What you can expect from us.
How we work
You tell us about your vehicle and where it is. We assess the details, provide an offer and, if you accept, arrange free pickup from the agreed location.
Grounded in the region
We focus on Oamaru and South Canterbury, including Timaru. For other nearby towns, provide your pickup address so we can confirm availability rather than making assumptions.
WHO WE ARE
A local vehicle buyer with its own truck
Cash for Cars Oamaru buys unwanted vehicles across North Otago and South Canterbury and removes them with our own flatbed truck. The photos on this site are of our truck and real jobs — not stock images.
We started with a simple idea: selling a car you are finished with should not be a project. You should get a clear offer, a straight answer and someone who turns up when they say they will.
HOW WE WORK
What you can expect
- Honest communication — we explain how we arrived at the offer
- No pressure — decline at any time before the sale
- Collection planned around your schedule
- Paperwork and ownership checks done properly
- Vehicles reused for parts, resold or recycled, depending on their condition
ON THE ROAD
